RealtimeUK are one of the top CGi companies currently working out of the UK, and one that I am always personally impressed by. Therefore I wanted to highlight this opportunity to work with a talented bunch in the North of England.
RealtimeUK will be holding a CGi Presentation and recruitment day in The Open Centre at the BBC’s Studio building within Media City on Wednesday, 31st October. Their Directors and Lead Artists will be there to talk you through the making of some of our best known projects and to offer a rare opportunity to get under the skin of how the impressive studio works.
Many of you will be familiar with some of their recent work shown on this blog.
According to RealtimeUK “The day is only for highly experienced artists with the hope of filling the following roles; CG Producer, CG Artists (3DS Max, Maya), Concept Artists, Matte Painters, VFX Artists and Lighting TD’s.
We believe that Manchester holds exciting, new opportunities and we are taking advantage of the day to explore our expansion plans in the area. We have recently employed 6 new artists from companies such as Microsoft Game Studios and THQ as well as hiring 2 very talented graduates from Bolton University’s Visual Effects degree.”
If you are interested in meeting their team, then you do so by clicking on the following link >> Sign up here. Limited tickets available.
Please note that RealtimeUK mention you must be an EU citizen to apply.
As you would expect, all the work they are showing and talking about is made using Autodesk products.
