Happy Friday 13th everyone!
As it’s a Friday, it’s only right we have a little bit of fun. Today’s post follows on from some recent light-hearted Twitter banter.
All of us are all too aware of the inconvenience and complications a crash can potentially cause in any application. Over the past few releases Autodesk has put a huge amount of effort into improving the applications stability, (something I hope you’ve noticed) and the amount of updates which are flying out of the Autodesk doors recently. Even with this huge team effort though, crashes can still occasionally occur. So what better way to lighten those moments than by having 3ds Max (or your chosen app) sing you a tune?
In the below video Anselm von Seherr-Thoss shows us how to make 3ds Max play his favourite Super Mario sound effect.
On a serious note, remember to keep sending us the Customer Error Reports (CER’s) should you run into any difficulty. Making sure you are using over 8gb of RAM will make your 3ds Max life much happier, as well as ensuring all relevant product updates are installed. Remember to not just update 3ds Max but also any plugins and graphics drivers you rely on in your workflow.
Now join me for a group chant of “Marrrrrio, Marrrrrio, Marrrrrrrioooooo….” (On a side note, did you know Mario was rumoured to be named and designed after the warehouse guy at Nintendo and is over 25 years old now?)
Happy Max’ing
