BOT animation CG Supervisor, “Jeb”, recently shared a nice experiment with me that he has been working on in 3ds Max and Adobe’s After Effects. In this R&D project he explores some ideas for a creature, after being inspired by Prometheus. The idea was to focus on the continually changing mood the lighting creates and controls throughout the movie, and what better way to do it that on a killer alien creation?
