Hi All
Here’s a video that snuck past me recently, with all the 2013 launch news. I therefore wanted to make sure you were aware of it too. This 1 hour long video provides a great insight into some of the considerations when implementing iray into your studio. This includes things to look out for when using iray, as well as ideas on hardware requirements.
This video was recorded during a live stream, and as such the audio isn’t fantastic, but the information it contains is extremely useful. The agenda of this web hosted event was:
- iray, what is it?
- Differences from previous rendering Technology
- Advantages & Disadvantages
- Hardware specs (what's needed to run iray)
- Q&A
The video is jointly hosted by Shane Griffith, 3ds Max Product Manager at Autodesk, and George Matos, VP of Technology and Visualisation at US based, Chipman Design Architecture.

Thanks to our friends at BOXX for helping with this video.
