Yep, it’s true, I must go and hang my head in shame. One of the most important internet news items for 3ds Max users over the past few years, and I forget to share it with you. This 8 minute, ‘Sneak Peek’ video was uploaded at the end of last week and covers Small Annoying Things or SAT’s as we call them here at Autodesk.
SAT’s are all about the little annoying quirks and problems in 3ds Max that you might have got used to over the years but which might benefit from a second look. Below you will find a video which should make you all warm inside. It may even make you overcome with joy and want to hug someone, so before you watch this clip, I suggest you choose who your sat next to very carefully.

If this interests you, then I would also recommend you take a wander over to Ken Pimentel’s blog. Many of you will know Ken, but if not, he’s the Director of Visual Communication Solutions within Autodesk M&E. (It may be easier to just call him the Guv’nor if your from London, pronounced ‘Larrrndan’.) In Ken’s blog he discusses some “3ds Max Future Notes.” To quote Ken “As the interest and speculation begins to build, we’d like to give you some guidance.” Many of you who understand how large companies work and the different and challenging outside rules their governed by will understand, that the sharing of this information is unique, and should be welcomed for what it is. A way to involve you in the process as much as possible, and as early as allowed.
