Hi All
In some of the previous 3ds Max quicktips we have explored the benefits of 3ds Max’s MassFX toolset, and how we can use it in production for more than just simulations. Following on from this, today we look at how we increase our workflow efficiency by using a MassFX specific Quadmenu. As with all quadmenu’s it contains the most common commands required for creating rigid body simulations.
So, here come’s the tip part: you can enable the above quadmenu by pressing the ‘SHIFT+ALT+Right Click’ combination. From within this quadmenu we can see how the layout is arranged, resulting in the important tasks being positioned within the top left box for quick recognition, this quad menu also has the benefit of allowing us to open the main MassFX tools window for enhanced functionality. This is the main window you may have seen in many of the workflow tutorials out there.
Happy Max’ing
