A more detailed description:
These highly informative and friendly events are accompanied by users who want to show ‘making-offs’ or highlight projects they are currently working on. They are also a great way for companies to discuss any job openings, or for students to show their showreels for an open and friendly critique. In short, these are true community events with a friendly atmosphere, where the only objective is to share knowledge and skills.
It is intended these will be run on a quarterly basis. (or more often, if demand is there.)
Anyone is welcome to present to the group. To help kick things off Marc Heesterbeek of UBIKmh, has agreed to talk about the making of his recent ‘Spanish Villa Animation.’ You can view his work and website here.
I will also be running a popular session on the Slate, Mocap workflows, Nitrous viewports, and general tips and tricks.
Please bring some of your own work to share with the group, and remember we’re also looking for presenters for the next few meetings. If you are interested or know someone who is, please email either myself or Joep.
There will also be a number of give-aways throughout the evening, which you definitely don’t want to miss.
More details will continue to be posted on this site. You can also follow @3dsjamiesjewels on twitter. If you plan on attending and use twitter, then why not add the #3dsholland hash tag, and help spread the word.
