If you’ve been using 3ds Max for a while then this Quicktip should already be well known to you, but I was surprised to see at a recent event how many new users to 3ds Max don’t know of this great time-saving feature. Again, like all the Quicktips this is an extremely simple tip that can, and should be added to your workflow with ease.
When using the quad menu it will highlight the last performed option by changing the text to blue.
The good news is you can very quickly re-perform this highlighted task, by selecting the relevant quad menu’s header box.
This will then re-perform this operation.
I’m sure you will agree that the Quad menus are an extremely powerful toolset within 3ds Max, and is certainly one area I would recommend spending some time customising, to suit your workflow. Inturn, ensuring you get the most of them and 3ds Max.
Happy Max’ing
