Please find below some 3ds Max/Design and Macintosh OSX support information that you
may not be aware of. If your using a Macintosh then Parallels will address your immediate needs for running 3ds Max/Design.
You have two options for running 3ds Max/Design on a Macintosh (Mac).
Option A: Boot Camp
Runs 3ds Max at full native performance under Windows
No access to OSX without reboot
Option B: Parallels for the Mac (PFTM)
Runs 3ds Max in a window off OSX
50% or less GPU performance
CPU performance about the same
Please note ‘Parallels’ are now officially supported.
